Community programs

As an Ayurvedic lifestyle coach and doula, I am committed to empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to take charge of their health and wellness through education and community-based support. Having been fortunate enough to receive the gift of education from my grandparents, who immigrated to this country, I am paying it forward by developing bilingual curriculums that bridge language barriers and make the information accessible to non-native English speakers.

My bilingual curriculums incorporate principles of Ayurveda, as well as other alternative practices, herbalism, and natural remedies. My aim is to empower individuals to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing, which can bridge the gap in health equity. I am developing partnerships with local organizations, clinics, and schools to provide bilingual birth education and prenatal support group programs that are tailored to the specific needs of the representative community. Through these programs, participants gain a better understanding of the physical, emotional, and logistical challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting, as well as access to resources and support that might not otherwise have been available to them.

Raices Nutritivas/Nourishing Roots Program

Raices Nutritivas/Nourishing Roots is a program that empowers individuals from diverse backgrounds on the importance of healthful living through the introduction of integrative and alternative practices, plant-based diets, and natural remedies. We provide hands-on training in cooking nutritious meals on a budget, information and resources on physical activity and stress management, and offer the program in multiple languages to bridge language barriers.
